1993 explorer xlt 4x4
I have a 1993 explorer xlt 4x4 5 speed. I replaced all plugs and wires. Replaced o2 sensors. Replaced mass air sensor and the iat sensor. The damn thing keeps bogging down and flooding and shutting down i have about had it. What advise can i use to help make it run better i would really appriciate the helpful hints from somebody.

Fuel pressure regulator? Fault codes?

I havent tried the regulator yet but will. I dont have a code reader for an obd1 but i will try to check them the hard way thank you

Definitely read the codes, they provide clues. You indicate it is running rich to the point of not running. Please pull the vacuum line off of the Fuel Pressure Regulator when it is bogging down and see if it is wet with fuel inside the vacuum line, it should be dry. If it is wet you have a bad Fuel Pressure Regulator and the ruptured diaphragm inside is leaking fuel into the intake through the line.

If this is not the problem, let us know and we will help. :)
