    I thought that the steering bracket on the #883 was different than 95-97 explorers used? I have a 97 Eddie Bauer and want to get a 3" BL but I don't know which one is the right one....#883 or #853?

    Most of the wheeling i'm gonna be doing is mudding. I LOVE mudding! and in my 4x4ing experience (little as it may be) I have seen lots more parts getting broken rock climbing, trail making, logging, etc. So the more horsepower the better. Better for plowing through the spring muck. ;)

    I want to keep the IFS, I think it does better 4X4ing, personally. Plus putting on a SA would make it ride like a brick. :P I am looking for a body lift right now though. And I can't find any for a 1997 Ford Explorer. I know tons of you guys have them so i guess i'm asking where to find them.

    Dang...That sucks. haha That's why I always watch someone else try mudding in the winter first. :P
