According to the owners manual, (that book in the glove box) there is no way to check the transmission oil and only needs to be checked when work is done on the transmission.
Ditto for me as well. I tow mine in the regular drive position and if on a lot of ups and down I turn the O/D off. Helps with going downhill too as it slows you down because your not free wheeling.
I have had my ST for 3 years now with no leaks what so ever. I had to get the shifter replaced (under warranty) because the park interlock relay quit working. Other than that this is the best truck I have owned. ;)
I've had my 2007 ST for almost 3 years now, 42,500 KM (26500 MI). GREAT truck no problems at all, pulls my trailer no problem. Would recommend one to anyone who does not need a full size truck.
