Thanks for the response! I haven't torn into the inside of the Exp yet but I had been told it only had one unit. The refrigerant had dye in it that's how I was able to see it leaking.

Jose, As you can tell from my experience the wrong part won't work! The most important parts are the shaft, Dual Auto Temp or Manual and the mounts. The D shaft will not work with the cross and if you try and make it it will strip the door female. The DAT and manual motors look the...

Smiley, My heat actually gets really hot when I give it gas but then goes to mediocre warm when at idle. I see we haven't gotten any response yet but I've been told it's a vaccum leak. Anybody have any thoughts or a diagram of vaccum lines for a 2004 Explores V6 regular gas engine.

2004 Explorer I have the exact same problem as Smiley 87. I havn't used my heat all summer because I had a bad actuator motor I just replaced the motor and the only time I get heat is when I'm giving it gas. All hoses are warm. Can it be the thermostat. Help please.
