    humming gets louder as speed increases

    I have an '04 XLT and the rear end is where my humming noise comes from.Changed the gear oil,and it got quite.Less than a year later it started again.Changed the gear oil again using Lucas,that kept it quite for about a year.

    Coolant Leak

    It might be the thermostat housing that is actually leaking.That's what is wrong with mine at the moment.O'Reilly's has the bottom for about 65 and the top for about 45.The pic they show looks like the right part but not for sure.

    thermostat and sensor housing- do they crack?

    I'm having the very same problem with my '04.O'Reilly's has the bottom thermostat housing for about 65 bucks.
