I think the rain sounds really loud when you're parked and the rain is coming straight down on it. I only notice it when I'm parked in my driveway. Once I'm driving it seems much quieter.

The link I posted says it's on the MyFordTouch screen, if equipped. I don't remember where I heard that it is on the rearview mirror otherwise, so I guess I'm not 100% sure. Chances are that someone getting a base model wouldn't spring for the camera anyways.

http://www.ford.com/suvs/explorer/features/#page=Feature21 I think trevenc is right about this, but I haven't gotten mine yet to check for sure. If you get a base model without the myfordtouch screen, then the camera shows up in the rearview mirror. That would be camera type #3.

Does anybody know how easy it will be to add a brake controller? I just ordered one, and the salesman couldn't tell me. It would be very helpful when towing.
