Nope, Flowmaster doesn't have a stainless kit. The only place that has stainless is Borla.

    OMG!!!!!!!!!!!!!

I lost my key. All I did was grind two sides of the bolt down flat with a grinder so I could get a wrench or vice grips on there. Hell, thiefs don't even bother with the grinding.

getting frustrated...trying to break the bolts loose on drivetrain

If it is away from gas/brake/whatever lines try heating the bolt up that usually does the trick. A torch will be enough to break it loose.

    A scam????

This is a big scam. My neighbor wanted to do something like this but he called some agency to make sure it was legit and they told him to forget it. The way he explained it to me is the give you a big check and they let you keep whatever you are selling the truck for. They then take the truck...

CEL gone but rough idle after starting

Well just reset the computer today and was fine until I turned it off and started the engine again. It really wanted to die and the voltage looked like it was dipping a little everytime it struggled. After I gave it some gas it ran perfectly fine. I have no idea! Maybe a fuel filter?

Yeup. I will try it again to make sure I had the battery disconnected for a long enough time.

CEL gone but rough idle after starting

Well after having my CEL light go off and on for awhile I decided to replace the O2 sensors, clean the maf, change my air filter, and change the Fuel pressure regulator. Everything went fine but I couldn't change the passanger side O2 sensor, way too tight to get it off. Anyways the truck runs...

    Tickets for Tinting

My buddy took a picture of his truck before he got his tints on. Whenever he gets a ticket he brings the picture in and the ticket gets thrown out. I thought this was a pretty good idea because you save some money from not paying the ticket but he loses almost a whole day of work which costs...

    Trans slips till restart.

Nope, nothing out of the ordinary. Brought it into the shop today to see what is up!

    Trans slips till restart.

Okay my 94 2wd Sport has been experiencing some trans problems lately. It has about 90,000 miles on it. It started when driving to get the emissions tested. The truck just had no power. The engine would rev but no power was being supplied to the wheels. So after pushing it to the side of...

    Tips/Suggestions on removing small dents

I think you put the dry ice on until it pops out the dent. If it is taking awhile then it is prbably not going to pop it out. I don't think it would damage the paint or the clearcoat, it is like putting a really cold ice cube on the metal. There is no chemicals that could react with the...

    Tips/Suggestions on removing small dents

Two Words: DRY ICE This is a old trade secret that I was told from guys who used to repair damaged cars from hail storms. Some small dents will pop out with an application of dry ice. The dry ice is so cold that the metal will contract enough to pull the dent out. It doesn't work all the...

    The Gas-Price blues

You guys suck! I hate living in Chicago, nation's highest gas prices. I paid 1.80 for the cheap stuff!

    Bug Deflector?

I personally think that bug deflectors work great when they are installed properly. I have had mine on for a couple of years and I know for sure that it has taken many rock and pebble hits that would have surely dented the front of the truck. Hey I have proof that it works, I have had my...

    1999 won't start

Truck cranks fine just has no fuel going into it and we checked the fuel relay and it was fine, he brought it in to the dealer today and realized he has two weeks left on his warranty, lucky it took it in when he did. The replaced the idle control something, I wasn't paying attention because I...

    1999 won't start

My buddy has a 1999 Sport SOHC and the problem is it won't start sometimes. The first time it didn't start we jumped it be I thought it was the battery even though it was 2 years old. That didn't work so we tried a new battery that didn't work. After a day of thinking we gave up and called...

    Explorer convertible

Hey Dan, I remember that, all I got to say is....EH. It's alright. Hey the year before the Superlift event I went with the gang to Attica and in NOIEC fashion we got a little lost. While driving around the boonies for awhile, I could have sworn I say that Explorer at a fair and no one...

    Drivebelt tensioner gone bad?

Yeah the fan is a pain. Really the only thing you have to remove is the intake tube which only two screw clamps. I stuck the wrench in the square hole and put the handle in between the fan blades and just pulled up, with my hand and the wrench handle in between the fan blades. Once you do it...

    Drivebelt tensioner gone bad?

The square hole is to release tension on the belt so you can put it on or off. The square hole allows you to put a wrench in, with no socket, and get some leverage. The square hole is 1/2, trusty Haynes manual! And if it is a pre 94 it should only be one bolt to get the hole belt tensioner...

    Drivebelt tensioner gone bad?

On my 94 Sport there is just one bolt through the middle of the tensioner, unscrew that bolt, put on the new tensioner, there is a slot that does not allow it move but allows the spring actio to happen. Then you got to but a wrench in the square hole I think it is a 1/2 in wrech or maybe a 3/8...

    Drivebelt tensioner gone bad?

I just have to put my 2 cents in. Ford drivebelt tensioners are horrible. I have had very bad luck with them. Lucky for me they take about 5 minutes to change. The tensioner went out on my truck, my sisters 94 T-bird, and my dad's old escort. Plus a couple of my buddies truck's (fords)...

    Flowmaster Force II Install

Take off the old system put on the new one and clamp it into place temporarily. Then drive it to a muffler place and have them weld it up tight and take off the clamps. Clamps are okay but nothing compares to welding. Plus they won't charge much for the welding and it will cost less because...
