So newbee question here. What is the difference beteween Auto 4WD and AWD. Is there a hi low switch for Auto 4WD?

Additional Question: What is the deal with the "limited" versions. Airbag suspension? Is this a problem? When do they go bad and how expensive is it to repair? Anything else but a higher trim level on the limiteds?

So the 4R70W is the transmission to get. Those are found on all 302 V8 Explorers? AWD and 2WD? Or are there certain years? I am looking at '98s thru '01 models.
