    1999 4.0 OHV dipstick tube oring

    On my 1999 4.0 OHV, I've got an oil leak on the drivers side coming down from the middle (front to back) of the engine. I am suspicious that it is the dipstick tube oring that seals to the engine block since I've taken the tube out three times for valve cover work, but on reinsert never replaced...

    Windshield Compatibility

    I was wondering if it was possible to put a DW1474 windshield for a gen3 Explorer into a gen2 Explorer? DW1206 is the windshield for gen2, but RockAuto (and others) seem to think that DW1206 will work for gen2 and gen3 Explorers. So maybe DW1474 would work for both too? BUT! Other sites say...

    Oil leak after LIM/valve cover job

    So my 1999 Ford 4.0 OHV has had a drivers side valve cover seep for a while (never made it to the ground). Plus it had a rattle at idle. And old plugs. I decided to pull the top of it off and replaced all the rocker arms, push rods, LIM, valve covers, thermostat, DIY injector clean, injector...
