    How much better over stock do you think the airflow is with the airaid? Do you think that the flow is only necessary with the turbo and not the n/a?

    I hate to be pessimistic and i agree that tuners need time to learn what is essentially proprietary programming, but FORD (and all major manufacturers) should have their R&D done before a motor is released to market...

    I love Mighty Car Mods!!! and yes; smoothed intake can help with horsepower, but only way to get real additions is getting the actual pickup outside of the engine bay or by producing a ram air effect which only works on nat/asp. motors

    Underhood video of Airaid intake and gap

    Has anyone tried to plumb either the AIRAID/K&N/INJEN intake into the stock box? use the cold air of the box and good/smooth piping of the aftermarket intake while placing the cone filter in the stock box?

    you can defintely tell those turbos spin up quick too; alot of computer fighting/tuning is getting those spikes early in the rev range; smooth that out and that will be a brutal motor...I want to trade my XLT in!

    steering dampening?

    its very luxurious but not in a mercedes type feel; i too definitely like the steering to be harder to turn, especially on the highway. Adding the spacers on my LTD definitely made the steering feel less light; but in a good way.
