    Update on the ranger. We're at a 5/7 drop, explorer 8.8 4.10 lsd, airflow upgrades, clutch upgrades, custom grille ..........a lot more and a lot more to go! Lol

    Thanks! I'm from Ohio, so I am excited about them too! lol The Ranger did start it's life in WI, so it does have a little more than the explorer. The guy was in the air force and got stationed here soon after he bought it new!

    Thanks! Thankfully the tires were almost worn out and a new wheel was only $120. She paid me for 1 wheel and tire and an alignment. Ironically enough, my wife cleans her house! Her and the girls she works with call that woman Toxic Shock! LOL I guess she's really out of it!

    Parts interchangeable between 1999 and 2001 Sports?

    There is a way to do it with a 9v or AA battery. It puts the needle at a certain spot, then you put the needle back on with the battery hooked up. I found that on here, I think!

    That's common in explorers. I also had to cut my front bumpstops in half when I lowered it. I put 4 door spring packs in mine, because the some of the sports had a monoleaf setup. I also went with kyb shocks all the way around. It handles really well for an suv! Make sure to get an alignment...

    I just lowered the torsion bars then measured the drop, I got 2", then put 2" blocks in the rear.

    It's lowered 2" and I put p275/55r17 tires. They are the closest diameter to factory.
