    How do you remove the dip stick tube from a Ford 302 block? This is the tube by the 3rd core plug on the drivers side of the block. Is this pressed in? Screwed in? Thanks

    core plug size on a 302

    Hi. Does anyone know if 1988 Ford 302's have a core plug (soft plug, freeze plug) at the back of the engine block by the transmission? This would lead into the water jacket. If so what size is it? Anyone have a picture of the back of a 302 block. Thanks.

    getting poor gas milage *****UPDATE***** My 2000 Explorer w/ a V-6 used to get about 350 per tank full. All of a sudden I'm getting around 290 miles per tank full. Engine seems to run smooth and strong. Any ideas why the mpg's would drop so far so fast? I'm getting CEL codes of 171 & 174...

    OBDII code P1507 - Idle problem

    Got it fixed :chug: Got it fixed by cleaning IAC & MAF with Berryman's carb cleaner. Runs G R E A T now. Don't forget to disconnect the battery terminal for about 5 minutes to clear codes.
