While I won't disagree, we don't get the snow or cold to warrant a dedicated set of snow tires in Central Ohio. I was merely trying to point out that I too had an issue with premature wear with the factory Hankooks, and to share my experience and recommendation for the Nitto Crosstek 2 tires.

I'm going to guess it's because most vehicles from the factory have a slightly lower stance to the front to offset the drop in the rear when loaded. This kit is giving you the most lift you can get to equalize that stance when unloaded.
