Ive been doing research on some HID forums and they keep mentioning something about a Caspers Shield, anyone know what this is?

Im thinking of getting HIDs as well but the problem is w/ the 01' sports head light housing, it produces so much glare! This is bad since it will draw more attention to them and can also be dangerous since they can be blinding to oncoming drivers. Is there anyway to minimize the glare that comes...

Yes. They did do a good job on the exterior of the xsport, but the mechanics are still trying to resolve some issues from the accident. The engine is running rough and my tranny is doing a 2 - 3 shift flare now. The gas milage also decreased so substantially. It will be a while untill its back...

Bump For Updates!!

I was talking to the foreman of the body shop I took my ride too and they said they will need to repaint the whole thing just because theres deep scratches on all sides of the explorer excluding the roof.

Im getting it all repaired by my insurance, my deductible is $100, and they estimated exterior damage @ $4500; I think theres more damage than that, they never inspected the mechanics yet either.

It wasnt my fault and I do want them to write it off. :roll:

I use the PIAA Xtreme White PLUS on my explorer w/ stock harness and its two times brighter than my stock bulbs. Theyre pure white with a slight blue tint and extreme light cut off. Looks very nice. I recommend the PIAAS.

Does anybody know the bulb code for the puddle lights on a 2001 ford explorer sport?

Thats what I'm planning on doing as well. Im still not entirely sure on how to do it. Does anyone know if I'm going to need to change the wire to a thicker gauge wire, or anything like that?
