    Can you take the front axle's out and drive? I am wondering if it would expose the front hub bearings to water and grime. I would also take off the front drive shaft as well..

    I have some serious play, which I beleive is causing a vibration between 30-50mph.. I noticed this when I was checking the ujoints.. The truck does have 220k on it..

    How does the input and output bearing come off? DO you need a press?

    I noticed that I have a LOT of play on both the front and rear shaft, To replace them, do you need any special tools? Is there a link on a how to?

    I know where the jack is, but where is the tire iron and how do you lower the spare? Dont have a manual.. thanks..:)
