    Hot engine Won't Start

    Problem Fixed??? I unhooked the negative cable on my battery for about 20 minutes, in effect resetting the computer, and have not had the problem since. I also made sure the automatic fuel pump shut off switch under the dash on passenger side was rest and plugged in tight. YEAH!!

    I have a '95 Explorer XLT and I'm having the exact same occassional "ENGINE HOT; WON'T START" problem and I too just had my fuel pump and filter replaced 3 months ago. I would be VERY interested to hear what you find out. If you check your codes please let me know what you find out. Thanks!
