Well my motor went out on my truck on my way to work one day. So I had to get another motor for it. What i ended up with was a motor out of a 2002 police car, which just happened to have a few things done to it. Paid 900 for the motor from the junkyard and had it installed by my...
Ya im hopin the smell is the worst part. I hope that the computer didnt get wet at all. that way i still have a drivable vehicle. If it did get wet well im screwed. big time :mad:
I have no idea, they are saying the soonest possible time we are able to go get are vehicles will be Wed night or Thur morning. For now they are not letting anyone near the area.
Its been a while
Well I havent posted much but heres a quick update:
My tranny started slipping going into second gear so i pulled the code which was a PO732. so basically bad solenoid or broken band. I havent had the money to get it fixed so i have been babying it. i bought some blacked out...

I agree with the sliding rear window, my sister just locked her keys in her 91 ranger with it running, i jimmyed the rear window open and hit the lock button with a broom handle
Well I have had my ex for a little over a year now.
So far I have replace the rotors and brake pads.

the brown wire is a wire that runs to the transfer case, when you get rear wheel slipage, a signal is sent down the brown wire and the transfer case engages. some people cut this wire and put in a switch and a relay. in doing so you can stop the transfer case from engaging on its own. I did it...
I also forgot to mention, this was custom built. The bed is also a giant air tank. Well in the parade i wasnt going very fast at all. But, before and after i got up to 40, and it pulled very nicely, I was quite suprised. I do have the V8 and all so that did help out. :D
ok, imagine that trailer, with 6 55 gallon drums cut in half, full of ice and pop, and a big container full of 150-200 gallons of water. pulled it in the 4th of july parade the past 3 years. gonna do it again this year, ill get more pics
