my explorer interior plastic has faded spots. 186,000 miles always parked out side. the plastic at the top of door (bottom of side window), has faded. any off the counter stuff to bring its color back?

2007 V6 Eddie Bauer has 186,000 miles. just had wheel hubs redone and bearings repacked. no major issues. power lumbar has broke.

I have a V6 2 wd 2007 explorer. The jiffy lube guys alsways say the transmission needs flushed, but a guy i go to church with that has a repair place sasy the transmission is sealed and not to worry. I have 122,000 miles. should i have this done?

i have a v6 explorer that has the class 2 towing pkg which is rated for 3500 lbs. there is also a class 3 pkg that is rated for 5500 lbs. is the transmission different in these two, or is there something i could do such as adding a transmision cooler etc to get mine bumped up to the the class...

Tires are good. Smooth and quiet. Mileage about the same.

The original tires were Good Year Fortera. The car was a program car with 12K when i got it. Never rotated or aligned probably. Hope the Uniroyal Laredo's go 60K +

I have driven 33K, but it has 45K. Tires were shot.

The reason the belt was also replaced, they replaced the alternator and it was still squeaking, so they then replaced the belt and it has been ok since. Yes i would buy another, but not until 2011. I keep mine for 4-5 years. Wonder what Ford will look like then, adn what my options will be.

I have the MP3 plug in built into the center console, next to the Cig lighter. Can any MP3 work (Zune ?? / IPod / Sony etc)? I am only in need on the 2-3 mb, I don't need 20,000 songs. Any recommendations? 1st time MP3 buyer, still had cassetes the last time I bought a personal music player.

Sounds the same except I don't have trailer towing. Wish I did even though I don't have anythong to tow. No moon roof either. I like it except for the rattles noted above.

in the 2007 they added a little place to pull it shut without reaching down. I was used to it in less than a week. Sometimes a person in the back seat can't figure it out, but it's not a big deal.

3 month update Miles 5053 Gallons of gas used 274.12 Overall mpg = 18.43 Changed the oil at 4000 miles. Added the roof crossrails. No problems. Still love it!
