No. Basically protects your speakers no matter what.. HU or amp..

your 6x8 or "mid range" speakers should only have mid bass going through them... tweeters should have no bass goign through them... if you dont have an amp to do this, or don't have crossovers that came with the tweeters, you can by the blockers and they do the same thing... if you too much bass...

You don't HAVE to go with stereo dampning stuff either... the entire inside of my honda was sprayed with a thick layer of truck bed liner..... then the carpet and panels wer placed back.. never knew it was there.. but no rattle what so ever... car-undercoating works too....

If they are like the normal bass blockers... they go on the positive side only.

I would not recomend that dark of tint. I have (had.. sold it yesterday) a 91 civic... it had 3 layers of limo tint all the way around and 17% all the way down the front windsheild. you could put your head on the front windseild and still not see in... I loved it. drove like that for 3 years...

If you are really going to push that woofer, you will need a JL Audio 1000/1 to run it. If your not really wanting to spend $1700 for 1 amp and 1 woofer, I would go with a w6 or something... just my opinion. But the cheapest place will be ebay... but like roadenforcer said.. make sure you...

how much will it cost to retint? take the tint off, get the ticket waived, and then retint... should be cheaper than paying $400 for the tickets
