I saw in my JC Whitney catalog these things that look like a spring that mounts parallel on the leaf spring. It attactes at the back and goes to the axle. They're suppose to help with towing and cut down on roll in the turns. Anybody see these or have them? I've never seen anything like it.

Godfather,

Would they be the helper springs that actually attach to the leaf? They've been around for quite a while. I had them on my first car, a million years ago. Dead Link Removed They will stiffen up the spring, but only the half you put them on, unless you get the set that attaches to the whole spring.

They helped me out on that first car, since its springs were old and sagging quite a bit. Brought it back up nicely, and stiffened up the rear a bit. But, they're pretty obvious if you have them on. Everyone will know! Dead Link Removed
