Ok, i need some help. My 02 explorer XLT has a 4.6l v8.After getting off the highway the other day when i hit the gas the truck would not accelerate. after attempting to park also became aware there is no reverse either. It will drive but i have shift it myself bc it will not come out of second we have to manually shift it but it will shift from first to second pretty quickly and correct on its own. Under the truck found some loose wiring we believed was the heated oxygen sensor. Thought we had the problem fixed after reconnecting the wires but it was not all of the problem. Once it is rolling it runs good. Anyone have this problem or care to give a little direction as to where to begin what to check and how to check it?
