2001 Explorer. P1409 code.

2001 Ford Explorer Eddie Bauer 1409 code replaced egr valve and solenoid Check engine light has not come back but still have problem idling Can someone please help me with this problem. Doesnt do this in cold weather just when its hot

Welcome to this forum! I've moved your thread into the EEC-V section. What kind of problem do you have when it idles (runs rough or stalls)?

2001 explorer eddie bauer 5.0 104,000 miles Runs fine going down the road when you pull up to stop it starts lunging and trying to die you can put in neutral and sometimes will idle fine Check engine light has came on 3 times each time shows code p1409 Have had new egr valve egr solenoid and position sensor put on and still wants to die when you pull to a stop
