Well, This time has come where I need to do Ball joints on my 2001 Ford Explorer Sport 4wd With Torsion bar front suspension. I have done uppers, and lowers on my 98 Ranger 2wd With coil springs, They were all Pressed in and out, but this seems to be a little different. I've done some research on autozone's website, and Automotive Fourms, but still am confused. I am fairly positive the upper control arms (which are the the two peice design) just get unbolted and replaced with new Arms with Ball joints. but are the lower ball joints on this Pressable, or do you have to swap the lower control arms out as well? Anybody have any info on this?
