I just recently bought a 2002 explorer from an auction. I changed the oil the other day and went to grease the front end fittings and couldn't find anything to pump grease into. Am I crazy or do the new ones not need grease?

thanks

Ford stop putting grease fittings in the Explorer a while ago.. Most of us have changed out our ball joints & other suspension products with replacement Moog's with zerk fittings..

You don't really find grease fittings on newer vehicles anymore. Everything now is permanently sealed. Believe it or not, on the average car they last a lot longer that way.

You don’t. When the parts wear out, replace them with greasible versions.
