I have a 2005 explorer every time I go over a bump it makes a squeeky sound from the front end kinda like an old matteress spring, is it shocks or do the bushings need replaced?

More than likely it's the bushing. I had the same problem going slow over speed bumps. Changed the front and rear swaybars with a full Eibach kit w/urethane bushings. Sound never came back....good luck!

Front sway bar bushing squeak is a common niusance on these.

To confirm (and silence it short term), spray these bushings (two of them) with WD-40. The squeaking should go away.

This is what I am doing until a convenient time to replace them.

I've been spraying mine with WD40 every once in a while. Keeps coming back. I guess I'll change the bushings eventually.

Mine was doing it and I sprayed them with WD-40, it stopped it. Just look in the wheel well and they are right there.
