That's it of day 1.
Thanks for the photos, TONS to see for sure!
Wow, some really nice vehicles there. and great pics..
I love that allice Chalmers and that Roadmaster....
And why the heck did they put the detroit in the front and ARB in the back of that Mad Max inspired car.. that's backwards.....
I noticed that too.
Day 2 and what a ZOO!!
Imagine this scene spread out over 3.5 million sq ft of exhibit space. Honestly it was so crowded this year it wasn't as fun as it used to be. Half the time is now spent struggling with the crowd. The monorail which was such an amazing tool to get to and from the convention center quickly has become overloaded. In the morning, and at the end of the day the wait is about an hour long. Waits for taxis were reportedly just as bad. Each year they keep growing the show, but the infrastructure can't keep up.
That's all from Day 2.
Some amazing and over the top work!
The picture of the semi truck with the gash in the engine cover: was that real or air brushed?
Digital cameras rule the world!
I remember going to auto shows in the '70s and spending $100 on film, processing and 5"x7" prints to get photos with nowhere near the quality you just got for FREE . . .
