2016 Explorer possible to run 305/35R22’s

New to the forum and the explorer world. Just bought my wife a white 2016 XLT. Love the polished 20’s but she wants to mod it. I’ll be selling the polished split spoke 20’s and new tires if anyone is interested. We just sold our 2012 Jeep Grand Cherokee Overland and she wants a similar stance. I had modified Eibach SRT Springs with 22x10.5 XO alloys and 305/35r22’s at all 4 corners. I want to do the same to the explorer. She wants to run niche misanos in 22x10.5 ET 40. I know that 285/35’s will work but has anyone ran 305/35’s? They are only about a 1/2” taller and 3/4” wider. If I do lower I’ll use the flex H&R springs but she really likes the factor ride hence going with a little taller tire to fill the wheel wells... but I do not want a 285/40. Any thoughts? About to remove the roof rack and black vinyl the top half and custom paint the trim to match the body.
