4.0 motor swap

I have a 2000 explorer 4.0 sohc 2wd with a good motor and a 2000 explorer 4.0 efi 4wd that the motor is bad in can anyone tell me if the sohc motor will work in the 4wd explorer and what would have to be changed to make it run right all help will be greatly appreciated thanks

not sure but I think that the maf would handle the difference i'd try it.

Ok the 4.0 efi is actually an 4.0 ohv does anyone know what I would have to change to put the sohc motor in??? Please help

I'd stick with the ohv , just my preference tends to be more reliable, but the sohc does give a nice boost in power I guess it's up to you what's more important.
