I recently picked up a 2000 Navigator. Went to change the oil filter and there was a dinky Mighty T500 filter on it (which eludes the Internet.) The filter case lined up exactly with the mount.
My replacement filter was a Wix 1372 filter ("value" line) which over-hangs the filter mount and REALLY fills the small space Ford gave the filter to sit in.
Anyone run a smaller diameter filter on their 5.4? The T500 doesn't cross to anything.
