5 beeps , 5 times

I have disabled the seat belt chimes, but i get 5 series of 5 beeps about a minute after i start driving. no lights or anything else. then they stop and don't return until i stop and restart the engine. can anyone tell me what these beeps are for and how to stop them.

Sounds like the airbag warning bulb may be blown in your cluster. the 5x5 chime is a backup alarm for the airbag system. If the bulb is blown, replace it and the chime should stop.
