Hi guys,
A small introduction I'm Niels from the Netherlands.
I just saved an 1998 explorer 4.0 sohc from the junkyard.
Did not run, had no keys and remote for the immobilizer. It did came with another steering collum with a key, so I changed the steering collum bypasst the immobilizer. Fuel pump was not working, changend it and he started immediately after standing still for a couple of years.
Time for a little testdrive, i soon found out that the reverse was not working. Reverse lights came on, try to give it a little bit of gas but the rpm hardly comes up and wil not move
Forwards is no problem
I really hope somebody can help me with this problem
