5r55e Reverse servo

Should my reverse servo bore have movement in it? I have a back up one but doesn't move at all, as you can see in the picture one sits lower than the other.

Put it in a vice with rubber pads so that you don't damage it, then remove the clip.

I took both of them apart and the one I had in my tranny didn't have a spring, but the spare one I have has a spring, I'm confused.

The spring maintains the proper height of the parts as you could see in the first post of this thread. You should upgrade the O rings on the servo to the Viton D ring kit.
