I turn on my A/C and all i get is hot air. i left it on for about 30min yesterday while dribving and all i got was hot air again. any ideas i know nothing anout this stuff.

there is a thread is the Useful Threads that, while dealing with converting an AC to use R-134a, is, in the end, a good source for a LOT of AC info generally, and has many good links, try that first. It has been active lately so you may want to visit "Under the Hood and Driveline" and look for it, should be on the first page or 2.
