Abs and traction control how to arm disarm

Just bought a 09 explorer xlt 4.0l v6. If I hit the traction control button and it shows the symbol on the dash does that mean its on or off? Also it says abs off on radio, how do I turn it on or should I leave it off? Bought it used. There is no manual in the car. Thank you.

According to my drivers manual (08) the dash light comes on when you turn the button off.
I'm not sure about abs, My radio will flash a message about the back up sensors when put in reverse
