Aftermarket cross bars for roof rack

So I bought a roof-top basket to haul luggage for long trips and some cross bars from amazon and I have run into some issues...

We have a 2006 explorer limited and the rack rails seem to be taller and thicker than alot of the aftermarket cross bars support. Has anyone successfully found ones that work or are ford replacements my only option?

Do you have any pick and pull style junk yards near you? Would definitely be worth looking to see if there are any junkers with the OEM cross bars. If not, your easiest route will be going with these (see link below). They might not be the cheapest option, but at least you know they will fit and you wont waste money.
