So I've recently noticed I can vividly hear my alternator whining through my speakers and/or subwoofer. I have a 2010 STA with factory nav and subwoofer.
Typically in an aftermarket setup this wold be caused by the close proximity of the power wire to the RCA cables, or a shoddy ground connection, but what could it be with a completely factory setup?
Also, I do have the lockpick system installed, but this has been installed for years with no issue and I cant see how this would be the problem.
Let me know if anyone has dealt with this same issue.
