So just moved to Grand Junction, CO and have been starting to research fun places to explore.

Anyone know of fun places that a pretty much stock 08 Ex can go? Prefer no major Rock crawling. Should be getting some 265x70R17 Grabbers soon so that will help.

The desert North of town is pretty much open for travel. Lots of places to explore, just watch out for other OHV riders and recreational shooters. Coal canyon is a fun trail that takes you up behind the Bookcliffs and can be accessed by taking the Cameo exit off I-70 East of Palaside. There are old FS roads all over the desert to the West of town, some are currently used for oil field traffic and some aren't. Just remember that travel is limited to marked/posted roads only.

Another suggestion would be to join/meet up with the Grand Mesa Jeep Club (they aren't Jeep exclusive). If you have facebook look them up and you and keep up to date with their meeting schedule and planned runs. If you join them, when you meet Dale (she not he) tell her Mike Boyle sent you.
