Black Chrome Emblems and Door Handles
I used 'black chrome' spray on the emblems and the door handles as well ason the chrome trim on the bottom of the doors and on the tailgate.
I plasti-dipped the roof rack and grille flat black
I also switched all bulbs inside and out to LEDs (no more egg yolks)
I also tinted the turn signals and the rear reflectors
That all looks good! I am working on the rear badges and roof rack this weekend.
My oh my, plenty of rides here that are looking good!
That Chrome Spray looks very nice......
Yeah nice job looks great & OEM...
Thought about using the black chrome on the grill chrome accents and/or the chrome accents in the headlights?
I'm not sure if the black chrome would look good on the black Ex's. But it definitely looks good with the gray ones. Very nice and clean job!
Latest addition.... Dark gray, satin reflective racing stripes (Sorry for poor pics)
Stripes reacting to ambient light...
Stripes reacting to direct light (flash)....
Used the same material that I used inside of my headlight....
Hi, Are those Fender Vents available in the US?
Very nice blacks & white & gray.
Are those vents available in the US?
Try pm'ing the poster.
Is the black chrome plastidip or is it something more permanent?
The black chrome is a duplicolor clear coat spray paint. I have heard that it is removable with lots of elbow grease and paint remover. But it seems pretty permanent.
Has anyone replaced their Sport's EcoBoost candy bar emblem on the tailgate with the new 2015 Expedition one that's all black?
Tried to find one on Ebay , no luck so far.
I think Lincoln has a black one too.
Those ones I have seen but the Expedition has one ALL black no green leaves in it.
what is the best way to take off the badges without marking the paint? Heat gun?
This EcoBoost badge
or nylon fishing line.
Ok how did you do the handles? The chrome handles as well as the ford emblems have been my biggest gripe.
