2002 Explorer XLT~ 3rd generation/4 door /4.0L/ Independent suspension. First time pulling hubs; but, even though I have access to a press, I'm wondering if I might be better leaving the bearing installation up to NAPA though, or pull my machinist experience into play - buy the extra tools (to have on hand later)...and make it an entire DIY project.
      What say you?
Using Callahan Brake Parts hubs & I'm thinking Timkin Bearings. The bearings shipped with the hubs appear to be of good quality, but... lookin' for input.
No badmouthing needed...but willing to heed aCtUaL experience. Thanks.
