      Engine light came on with code P0455 (Evaporative Emission system leak: large). What can I check?

      I'm sorry for the loss of your buddy. They do indeed become part of the family, and are greatly missed.....

      Sderaad, the most common cause of this code is a loose fuel cap, or damaged O-ring seal, so check that first.

      Thanks. I'm still at the stage where I expect her to be right here next to me, but she's not here anymore. She had a good life, but I'm very sad that she is gone now.

      02 Explorer Sport Trac
      P0455 code. 02 Sport Trac, similar problem, found a hose off over the spare tire, I believe gas tank to canister, snapped back in. Hope it works.

      having the same code come up and some harsh starts, had a line off vapor management valve pop off and melt. mileage has been down a lot lately
