Change rims from 15 to 16 on 1992 Ford Xxplorer

Is it possible to use 245/70 R16 tires on 1992 ford explorer without doing any adjustments to suspension etc?

I ran 16s on a '94 Explorer using 3rd gen Sport Trac wheels. Required 1.5" bolt on spacers to fix the offset. 16s will fit fine, just check the wheels you use for offset.

I have OEM 16" ranger wheels on my 91 and my 96 and they fit perfectly. I also noticed my 91 likes the slightly bigger tires, thats the only time the speedo reads accurately. I can tell when i have my gps in the vehicle.

Didn't need anything else. Just used the 5 slot alum ranger rims. Looks tougher too.
