I've been searching all morning for this part, and can't find it, even through a ford catalog. The Patent number on it leads me to a coolant flow controller. I've attached an image with it circled on the engine, and also a pic of said broken part lol. Any help would be much appreciated!! For now I just have a piece of pipe joining the two hoses.

$18 at Ford, which is the only place you’ll find it. It just keeps the coolant flow from causing noise through the heater core.

It’s just a restrictor.

If your pipe is water tight, save the money.
