i like the blue and silver one the mostest
Are the white dots snow flakes?
They might be those star thingys that I hear people say are in the sky, I don't know if I believe them though since I can't see them from my house
i use to run these on a toyota, they work awsome for dirt and sand, but suck on the rocks. my ifs could not handle them, i think i broke every part in the front axle at least once
just a trace of the white stuff last night,
yes the floaties were flakes,
them tires would only be used in mud , i have others for rocks,
There will be a special place for you in the afterlife Pete. My hats off to you for helping out that family in need.....well done Sir.
Yes Pete that was very kind of you to do that.
Knowing you though, I wouldn't expect anything less. And for that I feel fortunate.
wow, thanks guys,,
give you a warm feeling doesn't it,
Can't wait to see your build on this Pete.
a few pictures of my newest addition to the stable, and the subject of this thread,,
for this, i got a smokin deal from a good friend,,
in darn decent shape for a rust belt vehicle,
and i already have these for it,, 31x10.5,
when i come out there, i should see if i can pound the cab out so we can put the window in it. looking at them pics makes me miss it already, and it hasn't even been a week yet!
Nice Tim, ,
body lifting starts next Saturday at about 12 noon, when we have the box off you can get right in there close,,
dont really need the box off, just a block of wood, and a BFH. if you get time, can you take the trim panel off on the inside for me how ever. if you can't not a big deal.
i can do that, it's at the shop now,
cant wait to see this thing done!
what I want to know is how you got that ball joint in with just hand tools.....
they had the S T on scissor jacks, i had a small hydraulic type floor jack,i put the nut on the ball joint pin, and jacked the ball joint into place , and put on the clip,, there is a thread on it,, MG did it on this thread,
I never thought about that... I usually just use the press. Ill try that next time
the guys watching were amazed too ,
had to check this tread. had a dream last night that you sold it to a wrecking yard. needless to say i wasn't happy! lol
oh no,, you don't have to worry about that, will never happen,,
it will be twice lifted, and wheeled hard,
well , this project is gonna get rolling here pretty soon as all the snow is going away, and i can find all the parts now,, so,
i am going to start on the back first, get the bed/box off, and maybe get the back springs and shocks all hooked up and sorted out first before i put the front up and start the grinding that follows to get the front axle brackets off to put on the drop brackets,, and figure out the radius arms..
motor in my Explorer let go, and i bought another Ex , this is gonna get pushed back just a bit till they are both drivable,,
i will get to it soon
Started to get to work on this today, jacked it up and started taking the box off
so far i got 5 of the six bolts out, just 1 more , but the center of the torx stripped out, no biggie, angle grinder, and new bolt from the body lift to replace them
Lets play a little game,,
will it fit,,
