The function switch where I select between A/C, Vent, Floor, Defrost, etc. has been flaky but working for a few years. Now it's dead. The knob and shaft will turn but I don't feel or hear any connections being made inside the switch.
Ebay has several used, supposedly working, control ASSEMBLIES, which has that function switch plus the temp control and blower speed switch for $20 to $30 shipped. That seems reasonable if it fixes my problem.
I was just wondering how much of the instrument panel I need to remove on my 1993 to get access to that small assembly on the right which the 3 climate controls are mounted on. Does the steering wheel have to be removed???
