Don't neglect your alignments!

It's been 5 years since I had an alignment. Changed my rims & tires over a few years ago(used) & didn't bother. Well I took a 500 mile road trip in my X. I got to my destination & just happened to notice by accident the inside edges on my tires were bald. There were no signs otherwise, no shakes, shimmies or pulling. I had to drive another 300 miles to get back home like this praying they wouldn't pop. Not a good feeling.

Just bought new tires for the same reason. Out of alignment. Had no idea the inside where bald until I got brake work done and they pointed them out to me.

Lol, Just took mine in for the same reason 2 days ago. They did a rough alignment and sent me home to replace my loose lower ball joints. Couldn't feel a thing with my summer tires on. Noticed the irregular wear when I was swapping to my winter tires, though I don't think that it was as bad as yours are. Still lots of tread. Probably get 1 more season out of the summer tires.
