Hello:
I have an Explorer 2000 4.0 L OHV engine
Suddenly it began to fail a cylinder (the ignition spark plugs have 12500 miles) and for the exhaust tube it leaves white smoke (vapor) with scent to not well burnt gasoline.
The spark plugs are common with copper nucleus for what I believe that they arrived at the end of their useful life
The level of the coolant one has not lowered but the oil levell is in the kitten (it was always among the two marks) (in the vapor some drops of oil appear)
The idle speed this in the 800/1000 Rpm as always was.
My van has the original catalyst and 127 K miles totals. I always use it among
2000 and 2800/3000 Rpm in highway
It will be possible that when not producing combustion in a cylinder it causes this problem
I have not driven the van from the flaw (except for some 70 or 100 miles in I traffic
urban)
The flaw began after usually stopping and after some hours to light the engine a very cold and humid night (it rained)
Will changing the spark plugs and cables the solution be?

Thanks to who can respond me
