I haven't seen this mentioned anywhere. If it has been, then I apologize for the duplication.
It didn't occur to me until reading another thread, but if you have upgraded your early 5th gen to the heavy duty brakes, you need to get a spare tire that's on an 18" rim.
The 5th gens with the standard duty brakes came with 17" spares. The larger brakes require a minimum 18" rim.
