So I have a 2004 Sport Trac XLT, and I decided to go ahead and remove the defroster panel, found my code, typed it in and was successful. My only question now is, how do you reset the code so I can come up with my own code? Thanks everyone!!!

This won't really answer your question, but keep in mind that the original code can not be deleted. Don't share that code with anyone. You can program other codes that you can delete later, so if you give a code to someone else, give them a code you added instead of the original code. Just in case at some time in the future, you do not want that individual gaining access to your truck.

As for programming a new code, that should be in your owners manual.

Programming your own personal entry code
      1. Enter the factory-set code (keypad will illuminate when pressed).
      2. Press the 1/2 control within five
      seconds of step 1.
      3. Enter your personal 5 digit code.
Enter each digit within five seconds
      of the previous one.
Do not set a code that includes five of the same number or presents
them in sequential order. Thieves can easily figure out these types of
      codes.
Your personal code does not replace the permanent code that the
dealership gave you. You can use either code to unlock your vehicle. If a
second personal code is entered, the module will erase the first personal
code in favor of the new code.
If you wish to erase your personal code, use the following instructions:
      Erasing personal code
      1. Enter the factory-set code.
      2. Press and hold 1/2 for two
      seconds within five seconds of
      step 1.
The system will now only respond
      to the factory-set code.
