      Very interesting.

Please take pictures of your attempt at this, if you can.

Well presented write ups are usually rewarded.

Will do! I am ordering it tomorrow morning and will work on it Saturday! I will take pictures and do a write up! :salute: The guy at this company http://www.fwdaxles.com/ with this place being part of it http://www.drivelinesnw.com/ said to buy it on ebay because it is discounted heavily.

Just get a shaft..rebuilding cv is tough..balls and sockets wear..you need to match sizes or grind sockets to spec like in a rebuilders plant...

Looks as though the CV head is replaceable. The driveline shop I went to told me that the head was welded to the shaft... Looks like they may have been wrong. I may have to get one soon...

Just digging up an old thread trying to find the info... Didn't you do this successfully and do a write-up on it? If so, I can't seem to find it and need it ASAP...

      Thanks!

FWIW, I found a seller in Georgia on Ebay who is selling the parts. Looks like it should be a pretty straightforward job. I suspect I'll see the part early next week and will take some pics as I go.
