I need to R&R the front wheel bearings on my truck and am wondering how long it takes usually and how hard it is? I found them online for about $15 and need to change them soon.

Thanks in advance,
Andrew

Reality it doesn't take too long - I would plan for using up half a day - this gives you some slack time. You need to look at your brakes first, since you'll have them off to change bearings this is good time to replace if needed. Also, make sure you are getting bearings AND races. You will need new grease seals for each side, wheel bearing grease, brake cleaner, lots of rags, and necessary tools. Do you have man or auto hubs? If it is man, you need the special socket. Plan to clean your hubs while you have them off! There is a sticky on this, use it as a guide (I think Glacier did it.)
